Raise Some L is one of UofL’s most inspiring days of the year and this year we're moving forward. Together. Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 6:02 p.m. and running through midnight on Oct. 22, we’ll celebrate 1,798 minutes of collective impact in honor of UofL’s founding.

Led by Dr. Andrea Behrman, UofL’s Pediatric NeuroRecovery Program has redefined what’s possible for children with spinal cord injuries. Over the past decade, the program has grown from serving just one child per day to more than 21 therapy visits daily, delivering cutting-edge physical and occupational therapies that change lives.

The Cardinal Commitment Grant helps eliminate financial barriers for eligible Kentucky students by covering the gap between their available financial aid and the full cost of attendance, including tuition, books, dining, transportation and more.
Early Bird Challenge: The early bird gets the worm, right? The top 10 areas with the largest number of unique donors between 6:02 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, will receive an extra $100. Don’t wait, participate!
First Time Donor Challenge: The area with the most first time donors will receive $500. Donor must select the first time donor checkbox.
Recent Graduate Challenge: The academic area with the most donors who graduated within the last 10 years will receive an additional $500 in bonus funds. To participate, eligible donors should select the Recent Graduate option from the dropdown menu when making their gift.
Faculty/Staff Challenge: The area with the most gifts from faculty and staff will win an additional $1,000.
Raise Some L Cardinal Spirit Challenge: The top two most creative social media posts made during RSL will receive an additional $250 to the area of their choice.
Recurring Gift Challenge: The area with the most recurring gifts set up during day of giving will receive an additional $500.
Power Hour: Power up during the day! The top two areas with the most unique donors from 12-1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 22 will receive an additional $250 to their area.
1,798th Gift: In honor of UofL’s founding year, whoever makes the 1,798th gift will receive an extra $500 toward their fund.
The Final Countdown: Siri, play “The Final Countdown,” because there’s $500 up for grabs for the top three funds with the most unique donors between 10 p.m. and midnight on Wednesday, Oct. 22. First place: $250; Second place: $150; Third place: $100
