What is Raise Some L?

The Kent School of Social Work and Family Science educates and inspires the change makers of tomorrow. For more than 88 years, we have been committed to our work and the mission to address complex social problems through education, research and service to create a just and better world. We empower and prepare the next generation of social workers and family therapists to promote social justice and bring positive change to individuals and families, so they can lead heathier, safer and more productive lives. Our students become professionals that lead and serve in communities across the commonwealth and the nation. They hold your hand in the fight against cancer. They are the voice and advocate for children and the voiceless. They provide the non-judgmental hug after a difficult relapse. They provide guidance and support to mend the human condition. Changing the world to make it a better place for all is an unwavering mission, and we can’t do it without you! Your generous gift will support our students and our programs.
