What is Raise Some L?

A New Cardinal Tradition

Help our newest Louisville Alumni give back to the University of Louisville, a place that means so much to all of us.

With nearly 40 percent of UofL students being Pell Grant eligible, many do not have the financial ability to give back. The YOUofL Class gift provides our new Louisville Alumni with an opportunity to give back while creating a culture of philanthropy toward UofL as they go out into the world.

With your generosity, each graduate will have the opportunity to designate a gift of $20.25 to the area that is most significant to them, showing their gratitude to those at UofL who helped them cross that commencement stage.

Since its inception in December 2021, the YOUofL Class gift has allowed 2,728 graduates to support their areas of choice with a financial impact of over $55,000.

With your support, the YOUofL Class gift will become a new and unique tradition at the University of Louisville!
