Graduate students at UofL experience the same challenges that those in our community and beyond experience, and our hope is that we can provide them with moments of support to help them overcome situational and life barriers that pose risk to their wild success.

Last year we were able to give out more than $13,000 in relief funding to students facing unexpected expenses beyond their control. The types of expenses covered included: 

• Unforeseen health emergencies/medical bills 
• Out-of-state travel related to death of immediate family member 
• Safety needs (i.e. changing a lock) 
• Replacement of personal belongings/furniture due to fire, natural disaster or theft 

Every dollar goes a long way to supporting students throughout their graduate journey and our Dean Beth Boehm will match $1,000 in gifts made to the graduate school.
